Bible on herbs reveals that plants are for the man to use in their natural state to achieve a healthy living.

God provided the natural medicinal herbs for man to use

From the beginning, the Bible on herbs is clear. It tells us that herbs were a part of God's plan for mankind. He told us plainly in Genesis 1:29,30 that He has provided all kinds of grain and all kinds of fruit for us to eat.

God also provided the herbs for the animals and birds

For the wild animals and for all the birds He has provided grass and leafy plants for food. So its clear that herbs were not provided only for the animals and birds.

This is one of the reasons we have so many sick people in our world today because we are not obeying the diet that God has laid out for us. It is His will that we use the herbs that He has provided. Herbs of the Bible should be considered as God's gifts to men.

Heavenly revelation of natural healing

The Bible on herbs continued to inform us that during their yearly passover meal, God instructed Moses to tell the people in Numbers 9:11 to eat unleavened bread with bitter herbs. In Revelation 22:1,2 it states that, the angel also showed me the river of the water of life, sparkling like crystal, and coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowing down the middle of the city's street. On each side of the river was the tree of life, which bears fruit twelve times a year, once each month; and its leaves are for the healing of the nations.

The Bible on herbs speaks of a garden of herbs, vineyards, herbs for the service of man, sowing of seeds, tree yielding seed, green herb and many more hints to convince us that this is the way to go by using medicinal herbs.

How can any one doubt these scriptures? How can anyone doubt these Bible herbs? We have turned away from these God-given rights, the solution to this sick world and continue to take prescription drugs, that at times, instead of making the ailment better, it breaks out another ailment. The Bible herbs are signals to man to use medicinal plants.

We cannot deny that after God created Adam and Eve, He commanded them in Genesis 1:11,12 to let the earth produce all kinds of plants, those that bear grain and those that bear fruit. So the earth produced all kinds of plants and God was pleased with what He saw.

The Bible sanctions the use of herbs

In Daniel 1-16, Daniel decided not not to let himself become ritually unclean by eating the food and drinking the wine of the royal court. So Daniel asked a guard to test him and his three friends for ten days on a diet of water and vegetables. At the end of the ten days they were to be compared to the young men who ate the food of the royal court.

When the time was up, Daniel and his friends looked healthier and stronger than all those who had been eating the royal food. We would be looking stronger and healthier today if we were following these herbal solutions.

There are many other verses in the Bible that support herbs, and technology has allow us to explore herbalism in a way so that we can apply it to our every day living.

Let us ask ourselves the question as Jeremiah puts it in Jeremiah 12:4; "How long will our land be dry, and the grass in every field be withered?" The herbs are all around us, some are very easy to grow, so how long will we continue to ignore what is good for us?

Let us use the Bible on herbs as our guide by returning to the basics of life and make our lives healthier by using medicinal herbs.

Some Bible herbs mentioned in the Bible are cinnamon, rue, mint, holy herb (lavender) amongst others.
