Garden plants are numerous, so it would be difficult to put a name to each one. They can include flowers, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, fruits, and many more according to a person's preference. My preference however, is medicinal herbs. No matter what your preference is, it is always a joy to have them around.
Some of the gardening plants that are used as herbs are in season at different times of the year. Therefore there are those that are grown in fall and winter and there are those that are grown in spring and summer. There are some that are grown all year round, depending on the country a person lives in.
Now while flowers are just great for decoration, it is always good to have vegetables, herbs, or fruits, especially those that are edible and can be used medicinally. The excitement to having this type of garden will be more rewarding when it comes to reaping time, especially the reaping of the medicinal plants.
are grown in small home gardens as well as large ones. This include
peas, corn, potatoes, squash, cucumbers, onions, carrots, peppers,
spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, and beets. These are also included in the garden.
The popular fruits which are included in the garden are plums, pears, oranges, blueberries, cherries, apricots, and strawberries. The popular medicinal herbs for this garden are sage, thyme, dill, lavender, mint, and chives. They are used for their wonderful fragrances, to bring flavour to a salad, and season in cooking. They are also beneficial for medicinal purposes.
A vibrant and colorful garden in spring and summer is quite easy to cultivate and manage but it is not so at winter. Therefore due care must be exercised to find the right plants that will stand up to this cold season. Although it is quite difficult it is possible to have gardening plants all year round as I have said before. The gardening plants for the winter are Christmas rose, rudbeckia, which is a perennial plant, the Japanese anemone and cosmos.
Flowers are the most beautiful plants on earth most gardeners make every effort to cultivate a garden in spring and summer. These are the seasons that bring out all the beautiful colors in flowers for the world to see. For spring the most grown plants are daffodils, tulips, and violets. In summer, the favourite plants are roses, lilies and dahlias.
Many people prefer
decorative grasses or shrubs because these make beautiful borders and
fences, especially monkey grass for sidewalks, and taking care of these
plants are very easy. However, maintenance and proper care are keys to
lovely garden plants and remember, medicinal herbs are a must in this garden.
